Who needs an EORI number?
Your business may need to apply for an Economic Operators Registration and Identification number (EORI number) if you import or export goods between:
- Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) or the Isle of Man and any other country (including the EU)
- Great Britain and Northern Ireland
- Great Britain and the Channel Islands
- Northern Ireland and countries outside of the EU

Where do I get an EORI number?
The application process for an EORI number can be done entirely online on the UK government website. Before starting your application for an Economic Operators Registration and Identification number (EORI number), we recommend that you have the following information available:
