We’d like to offer a warm welcome to Stuart Bignell, the newest member of our growing team dedicated to supporting our same day delivery service to the Isle of Wight.
Based in our Southampton office at the Red Funnel terminal, Stuart will be responsible for coordinating the movement of same day freight between our Southampton and Cowes depot, supervising up to 22 crossings per day during peak season.
Our same day parcel service to the Isle of Wight, in partnership with Red Funnel Ferries, has gone from strength to strength since its inception six months ago, resulting in several new appointments in our Southampton and Cowes depots and a 25 percent increase in volumes of parcel and pallet deliveries between the Isle of Wight and mainland.
The high-speed shuttle service, which offers same day and door to door delivery, facilitates the fast and efficient transportation of goods between Southampton and West Cowes – an invaluable service for businesses operating on both sides of the water.
