We’re pleased to announce we have a new addition to our sales and marketing team here at Acclaim Logistics.
Steve Duncan has joined us as Sales Manager and will be responsible for selling our full range of logistics services, including UK and European pallet distribution, Isle of Wight freight, APC overnight parcel distribution, haulage and our Customs-approved ETSF (ERTS) facilities in Southampton.
Steve has over 30 years’ sales and marketing experience, with a strong background in logistics, including previous experience working for a pallet network company in Somerset. Steve has recently moved to Hampshire and was thrilled to accept the role of Sales Manager with Acclaim.
Steve Duncan said: “I was looking for a role with a professional logistics company that really understands the meaning of putting the customer first and Acclaim was the perfect fit. Acclaim has some strong unique selling points, which I will certainly be looking to capitalise on, including the partnership with Red Funnel and depots in Southampton and Cowes. Boasting 20 crossings per day, Acclaim is the obvious choice for sending freight to and from the Isle of Wight, both for businesses and consumers, and is the only operator to provide a door to door same day Isle of Wight parcel and pallet delivery service.
In addition, Acclaim has an ERTS warehouse, accredited by HM Customs, and positioned just five miles from Southampton Docks. Although there are other operators in the area offering this facility, Acclaim offer a complete one-stop-shop for imports into Southampton, including storage, pick and pack and onwards UK or worldwide distribution. This is a fantastic service for businesses who can’t afford the overheads of a warehouse and want to avoid trunking fees and handling charges.”
