In response to several new contracts and increasing volumes from existing customers, we have now invested in two new double deck trailers to serve the core parts of our business.
The first of the new 40ft trailers will be dedicated to the Isle of Wight, which since the launch of our partnership with Red Funnel, and has firmly established Acclaim as the provider of choice for parcel and pallet distribution to and from the Island.
The second new double-deck trailer has been customised specifically to service one of the nightly Palletways trunk runs taking our customers’ inbound palletised freight into the Greenford hub where it is collected by the depot tasked with delivering it. The ‘upper’ deck runs the full length of the trailer, maximising its capacity and negating the need to stack our customers’ freight – protecting their property from the damage that inevitably occurs from loading pallets on top of one another.
